Beware, this alarm is very loud and jarring. I got it for my new E bike, as an added security measure, when out in public, and also for when I park the bike in my garage. The motion detection seems to work well, it was easy to install, I just zip tied it to the bottom of the stem of the bike. Touching the bike slightly will admit a short warning alarm, but if it happens again, the alarm is ear piercingly loud. I think this would surely deter a thief and lower your chances of having your bike stolen. Worth a buy.
The alarm is small, easy to set up, and sensitive to light vibration, giving a warning chirp before sounding off. The remote control works great. Adhesive pads are included and i used them to attach the alarm inside a storage pod we needed during a remodel. The pod was broken into on the first night, but hasnt been touched again since I attached two of these alarms to the inside of the door. The warning chirp sounds when the handle or lock is touched.
This is a quality product at a ridiculously low price. Only time will tell how it holds up but I have to say this alarm is exactly what you need if you want to protect your expensive bike from being pilfered. I wasn't expecting much considering the price but when I opened the box I discovered a very well built product with good weight which always tells me something about a device. The alarm will scare the dickens out of anyone who attempts to steal your bike and if you have a lock what thief in his right mind would care to go about his thievery while this loud noise is alerting everyone in the vicinity. I might just buy a spare should anything inadvertently happen to the one I currently own.
This is an amazing bicycle alarm! Its smaller and more compact than I thought. It is definitely worth the money. It is very loud, and definitely would scare off/grab the attention of passer-bys. The sensitivity of the alarm can be adjusted using the remote as well. It is a very sensitive device, which makes it even better.
Ordered this for an European bike trip where I wanted something cheap and cheerful to just give me peace of mind when I park my bike overnight, coffee stop etc.
