1. Test Fit the Placement

• Keep the adhesive plastic cover on the mount.
• Slide the mount up and down the helmet's back centerline.
• Find a position with no gaps between the mount and helmet.

2. Clean the Surface

• Work indoors at room temperature.
• Ensure the helmet is completely dry.
• Wipe the area thoroughly with the alcohol wipe.

3. Align the Template

• Position the template over the selected spot.
• Use the reticles to ensure it is centered.
• Secure all the outer edges using your tape.
• Note: Avoid placing it too high so the light shines directly backward, not upward.

4. Secure the Mount

• Peel the plastic cover off the adhesive backing.
• Fit the mount directly into the center cutout of the template.
• Press down firmly using both thumbs for 60 seconds.
• Peel off and discard the paper template.

5. Cure and Mount

• Let the adhesive cure for at least 2 hours before first use.
  • Pro-Tip: 3M recommends waiting 12+ hours for maximum adhesion strength.
• Align the Brake Free unit with the mount and press down until you hear a click.
